Dr. rer. comm. Dipl.-Kfm. Mag. Gert H. Rienmüller
Gert H. Rienmüller was born in Prague in 1944. Studied economics and business administration at Munich and Vienna Universities before starting a career in international banking. Gert H. Rienmüller has held post at J.P. Morgan, the Lloyds Bank group, ABN AMRO Bank and the Creditanstalt. As well as in the USA and Austria he worked mainly in Germany.In 1991 Gert H. Rienmüller was appointed to the board of directors as managing director of the Creditanstalt, a.s. in Prague, and from 1994 was chief executive (CEO) of that company. Simultaneously he was on the supervisory board of Creditanstalt Securities, a.s. and managing director of OERAG (Österreichische Realitäten AG - the real estate administrator of the Creditanstalt).
In 1997 he set up his own company offering corporate, project, export finance and advisory services (since 1998 within the ICG).
Dipl. - Ing. Petr Kubíček
Petr Kubíček was born in Prague in 1969. After his graduation at the Prague Economic University he started his career with the Prague Stock Exchange. In 1992 joined the Živnostenská banka, a.s. and the ŽB-Trust, investiční společnost, a.s. where he was appointed to the board in 1996. He managed several investment portfolios amounting to USD 100 millions. He was responsible for dozens of transactions with majority and controlling interests in the range of USD 10 to 100 millions. Simultaneously he worked on a number of statutory and supervisory boards in companies from financial and various industrial sectors of the Czech economy. Such companies include Elitex Červený Kostelec, Jihočeské papírny Větřní, Živnobanka-penzijní fond, Četrans, První severozápadní teplárenská, ŽB-Trust, ŽB-Asset Management, Česká zbrojovka Uherský Brod, IPS, a.s. (SKANSKA CZ, a.s.).Since 1999 has been acting as a consultant in the area of corporate finance in ICG. He serves primarily software and Internet companies. In 2000 he founded for a group of financial investors Český Web – today a leading eBusiness solutions service provider in the Czech Republic successfully operating in the CE region. Since 2004 he has been managing Český Web as CEO for company shareholders.
Dr. rer. comm. Dipl.-Kfm. Ladislav VRDLOVEC
Ladislav Vrdlovec was born in Prague in 1945. He studied economics and business administration at universities in Prague and Vienna. Following his graduation, Ladislav Vrdlovec held managerial posts at Philips Industrie Ges.m.b.H. in Austria where he worked from 1972 to 1977. He worked as consultant and partner at the INSTITUT FUER MARKETING UND MANAGEMENT from 1978.In 1990 he returned to Czechoslovakia to establish the Czech operating subsidiary for the Dutch Koninklijke Philips Electronics N.V. During his tenure as Managing director of Philips Česká republika s.r.o., he was responsible for the Philips consumer products division that he successfully grew to the number one position in sales on the Czech market. He remained in his position as Managing Director untill 2001.
In 2002 Ladislav Vrdlovec re-established his own marketing consultancy focusing primarilly on marketing and distribution issues for the Philips DAP Export GmbH, Russia on the large Russian market. He became a partner of ICG in 2005.
Vijay Khanna
Vijay Khanna has a master´s degree in business management. After obtaining the degree in 1969, he joined Citibank N.A. and was with the bank until 1995. During this period, he worked for Citibank in different environments covering India, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Yugoslavia and Czech Republic. The main area included setting up of treasury operations and risk management for the bank and integrating a new acquisition within the Citibank environment. One such acquisition was that of Mercantile Bank Ltd. Bangkok in 1985 which was converted into a branch of Citibank. In 1986-87 Vijay Khanna became Managing Director of Citicorp Finance and Securities Thailand.
Vijay Khanna was Treasurer of Citibank A.S., Prague from 1991 to 1995 and one of the first five directors of the Bank. In 1995, he joined Bayerische Vereinsbank (now Bayerische Hypo und Vereinsbank) in Munich as Head of Emerging Markets, where he helped to finalize an emerging markets business expansion plan with focus on Central and Eastern Europe. In 1996, he moved to Saudi Arabia as Treasurer for United Saudi Commercial Bank (owned substantially by Saudi billionaire Prince Al Waleed). After three and a half years in Saudi Arabia, he returned to Prague in 1999 to set up his own consultancy and investment management services. He became a partner of ICG in 2005.
Dipl.-Kfm. Udo Schreyer
Born in Tyrol / Austria in 1944, Udo Schreyer has accomplished his studies of economics and business administration in Vienna / Austria , including a research scholarship for a year at the Fondation Nationale des Sciences Politiques in Paris.After a first period as management consultant with Knight Wegenstein AG, headquartered in Zurich, Udo Schreyer joined HILTI AG’s headoffice in the Principality of Liechtenstein as a marketing manager with global responsibilities. He then became member of the board of Fischer Werke, Tumlingen before setting up his own consulting company in Switzerland.
With more than 20 years of experience as a consultant to industries all over Europe and in the USA (with a few projects leading him also to Iran and Saudi Arabia) Udo Schreyer not only assisted top managers with a variety of strategic and operational tasks in the areas of change management, cost cutting exercises and marketing / innovation but he also quite frequently took over the driver’s seat himself in the role of a time manager or a turn around manager, and also assisted in or lead a series of M & A and restructuring projects. He became a partner of ICG in 2005.
Karl Swoboda
Karl Swoboda born in Germany in 1940 completed his studies at Columbia University, New York (MS in General Management and Finance).His working career has been in banking and finance. During the past 40 years Karl Swoboda has been active in Europe (Germany, Czech Republic), USA (New York), Asia (Japan, Korea, etc.) and Middle East (Saudi Arabia). During extensive business travels and shorter term assignments he has visited most countries in Asia and Europe as well as some South American countries.
Citibank New York (1964 – 1995) with assignments in New York and International has provided Karl Swoboda with the opportunity to develop competence in corporate/commercial customer relations, marketing & sales, risk management for credit and market risks, bank operations, human resources, general management, corporate governance, audit and government relations.
United Saudi Bank, Riyadh, KSA (1996 – 1999) appointed Karl Swoboda General Manager and Chief Operating Officer with overall responsibility for the operations of the bank which specialized in corporate banking, high net-worth private customers, treasury operations.
Arab National Bank, Riyadh, KSA (1999) appointed him Head of Remedial Management and Credit Risk Management Consultant.
Komercni Banka/Societe Generale, Prague, CZ (1999 – 2001) appointed Karl Swoboda Head of Remedial Management for the extensive portfolio of defaulted loans which needed to be resolved in aticipation of the sale of the bank to Societe Generale.
Since 2002 Karl Swoboda has been an independent consultant and joined ICG as a partner in 2004.
